Ma's Cha is dedicated to telling the stories of first generation immigrants and third culture kids. Through these stories, we aim to help inspire, educate and support people in these communities to pursue their own creative callings and take full control of their own destiny.
50% of all Ma's Cha profits go directly to a new not-for-profit fund; the 'Fresh Neighbours Fund'. The remaining 50% are re-invested back into the business so we can continue to grow. The ultimate mission of the Fresh Neighbour's Fund is to support an alternative ecosystem to the current mainstream media and corporate environment in which first and second generation immigrants have equal representation, opportunity and the ability to build independently without having to compromise on their values and culture.
The values that we seek to represent through both our products and funds are those we believe are inherent to the experience of the immigrant and third culture - authenticity, resilience, community, curiosity and love. These values allow us to embrace our roots, share our stories and preserve the beauty of our native traditions in the the modern world.
